Director Roland Emmerich truely does love showing amazing disasters on screen. After ‘2012 ‘and’ The Day After Tomorrow ‘, Roland intends to destroy the earth once again in the sequel to’ Independence Day ‘.

2012 the movie has break the world record as the world’s best seller movie ever by getting US$225 Millions, at least that is what Columbia Pictures has claimed.

It seems that this world’s apocalypse movie – which cast by John Cussack and taking Roland Emmerich as the director – has created a certain kind of 2012 fever in almost anywhere in the world.

Based on the data from Reuters, 2012 the movie earns US$65 Millions for the first three days premiere from Canada and USA only. While in other 105 countries, 2012 the movie has contributed up to US$16 Millions for Columbia Pictures.

This 2012 fever has put other movies away in earning. Jim Carrey’s Disney’s A Christmas Carol – which in number one box office chart last week – now in number two chart with UW$22.3 earning.
